Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has been urging all eligible citizens over the age of 18 to get vaccinated. He says the scourge of the COVID-19 delta variant is clear for all to see, especially with our immediate neighbors such as Fiji and PNG.

The government, through the Health Ministry, is also launching various Vaccination programs in all the nine pr ovinces in the country.

The no jab no job policy is also being implemented, which, to date, appears to be boosting Vaccination numbers.

A health spokesperson says that the government's target to vaccinate all who are eligible will be a step closer to reality with such assistance.
