Solomon Island import, Cummins Menapi, flew to Fiji yesterday and has joined the Nadi team camp as they seek to lift the much coveted Courts IDC trophy.

Team President, Jitendra Kumar said Menapi's inclusion will surely boost their chances of winning the prestigious title.

Menapi is arguably the most famous Solomon Islands footballer, after scoring twice for his country against Australia in a sensational 2 2 draw in the Oceania Nations Cup group match in 2004.

Meanwhile, two other Solomon's import are expected to join the Nadi camp this weekend.

The Nadi team has marched into camp and is training under the watchful eyes of coach Lambert Sarju.

Nadi plays its first match in the Courts IDC against Nadroga on Thursday.
