Reports reaching Solomon Times from Suva say that she was found dead in her room. A close relative of the deceased told Solomon Times that Ms. Gali was studying at the Fiji School of Medicine (FSM) and was doing her final year. Reports said that she might have died in her sleep. According to relatives, they are not aware of any long-standing medical complications that she may have. Unconfirmed reports say that a small piece of note was found in her room but no one understood what it was as it was written in her language. Solomon Times was also by family members here in Solomon Islands that they do not want the body to go through any post mortem. Arrangements are currently underway to bring the body of the late Linly Gali home.
