One of Honiara's best, the Koloale FC, are gearing for their match with the Hekari side in Papua New Guinea.

"We have only three weeks ahead of us to train for this match, which is our 2nd leg of the O'League in PNG," the club's left flanker, Kluivert Dagi told Solomon Times.

He said heavy rain in the capital has hindered their preparations "but we will resume to full training now that the weather is clearing up."

The game follows on a match Hekari played against Koloale in Honiara November last year, which the home team won 3-1.

The 18-member team with officials will leave the country on 4th March and return on the 8th after the weekend match.

Meanwhile, Mr. Dagi revealed that the Koloale FC will also be meeting with Fiji's Ba team on the 28th of March in Honiara.

"If we win the two games, we will wait to play in the final with the winner of a match between Auckland City and Waitakere United later this year," he said.
