Israel's ambassador to Solomon Islands Michael Ronen is visiting the country this week to hold discussions with various people in both the government and business sector.

Ambassador Ronen will be meeting the Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade William Haomae today.

He will also meet the Commerce, Industry and Employment Permanent Secretary Jeffery Wickham, and as well as the immigration Director Mason Fugui.

Other Ministries and people Mr Ronen will be talking to today include officials in the Ministry for Rural Development and Indigenous Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Medical Services and the United States Consular Agent, Keithie Saunders.

On Thursday, the Israeli ambassador will visit the Bahai'i Faith Centre at Kukum, the Small and Medium Enterprises Council, Christians in Business and Friends of Israel in the country.

Mr Ronen is scheduled to fly out of the country on Saturday.
