Isabel Province Ready for State Government: Premier Dotho

Isabel Province Premier, Rueben Dotho, says Isabel Province is politically ready to adopt a federal system of government.

The Premier said that under the provincial government, Isabel has strived with determination to deliver services to its communities.

The Premier says as Isabel celebrates its 25th anniversary of its Second Appointed Day, "it will continue its effort to efficiently provide and maintain services to its people." He says over time what Isabel province receives from the national government is far less than their expectations.

Premier Dotho says the provincial government has taken measures to bring about efficiency in the government administration, through structural adjustment programmes and streamlining deficiencies in the system.

Premier Dotho says there have been positive developments in the province in education, health, agriculture, infrastructure and other social services.

Premier Dotho reiterated that the province stands ready to adopt the State Government system.
