Four men face charges for demanding money with menace.

The matter went before High Court Judge Naqiolevu this week.

It was alleged that in year 2000, Jimmy 'Rasta' Lusibaea, Alex Bartlett, Andrew Fioga and Moses Su'u went into QQQ and demanded money and property of the whole and retail shop with menace.

Counsels for the accused jointly argued that the matter was covered in the Townsville Peace Agreement, which was signed and agreed upon that those involved in the ethnic crisis will not be prosecuted.

They requested that Judge Naqiolevu look into the amnesty issue in the Townsville peace agreement as it covers some of the alleged activities the four accused committed.

The High Court Judge Naqiolevu made them hand in their submission, and hearing of the amnesty issue will take place Monday next week.
