Guadalcanal Leaders Meet Prime Minister Philip

A delegation of Guadalcanal Leaders has met Prime Minister Danny Philip in Honiara today to discuss issues of interest to both the National and Guadalcanal Provincial Governments.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Philip briefed the Delegation on the policies of the National Coalition for Rural Advancement (NCRA) government.

At the same time, the Guadalcanal delegation handed a list of issues pertaining to Guadalcanal Province, including the Doma Township and Fishing Project, a recent Feasibility Study report, shipping services and Transportation issues.

The delegation also handed a Foreseeability Study report to Prime Minister Philip.

Prime Minister Philip requested the Delegation to ensure land issues pertaining to Doma Project be sorted out to enable the Doma Provincial Headquarter project and Fishing Project to get underway.
