The Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Hon. Manasseh Sogavare last week announced a minor reshuffle of his cabinet Ministers.
The exercise has moved the Minister for National Unity, Reconciliation and Peace, Hon David Day Pacha taking up the Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification port folio while holder Hon. Samson Maneka will take up the National Unity, Reconciliation and Peace port folio.
Prime Minister Sogavare said the changes have become necessary to ensure Ministers’ utilise their expertise in appropriate portfolios.
Both Ministers will be sworn in at 9am on Monday 18th May at the Government.
