In the Far East of Guadalcanal in Marau, a dispute occurred leaving two people injured and a logging company destructed.

The dispute occurred between Land Owners and Logging Company employees.

According to the Acting Police Commissioner, Peter Marshall, last week in a Press Conference, twenty police personnels have left for Marau and four men have been captured in relation to the incident.

The four men are currently in Honiara and will appear in court this week.

Peter Marshall expressed his gratitude to the community in Marau who assisted the Police following the arrests.

The two injured employees of the Logging Company are currently recovering in the National Referral Hospital.
