More than 800 students from Florence Young Christian School graduated on Friday during a colorful graduation ceremony held at the school compound.

Speaking during the ceremony, George Saemana, Florence Young School's Principal, said graduating students must think higher and positive. The theme of the graduation ceremony was 'Education is for life, Guard it well'.

"Learning is not the end when one reaches university, learning stops when we leave this natural world," said Mr. Saemana.

He encouraged students to become self motivated, "we have been able to teach you to be independent and not to be depended on others in your future life," he said. And also reminded them to prioritize Jesus Christ in everything they do.

The ceremony marks the end of the school's third semester. The graduation ceremony was witnessed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and EU representatives.
