Choiseul Province like all Solomon Islands Province has its own unique way of cultural dressing.

Speaking with Solomon Times, Johnson Doro who hails from Choiseul Province stated that women from Choiseul Province have different cultural wear for different cultural events and for their status. The little loin cloth that the Choiseul women wear is called Popolo and the hand bungles Jiku.

Mr Doro also stated that they still value and are proud of their traditional dressing today despite the influence of Western culture.
