Hon. Rick Hou said that he wants the country's central bank to adopt international practices in central banking legislation and governance. Hon. Hou, who is also a former Governor of the bank, says the adoption of such practices and standards will ensure outputs, monetary policy, financial reports, data statistics and so forth meet international standards.Debate on the bill has been adjourned to give the Members of Parliament ample time to study it.
