Our Telekom has established international roaming agreements with Telstra and Optus - Australia in April 2008 and with Telikom PNG Limited in September 2008.
'International Roaming' is simply the ability to use one's mobile phone when traveling in another operator's network or in another country.What this means to Our Telekom Breeze postpaid customers is that they can now make and receive calls while in Australia and Papua New Guinea with their Breeze mobile phones.
However, this service is only available if customer requests Our Telekom for activation of the service to their mobile phones.
With International roaming, customers can enjoy the following benefits;
.You are allowed to use your mobile phone overseas (Australia & PNG) without changing your number.
.You can make or receive calls and SMS, or access other mobile services whenever you travel to Australia & PNG.
.Calls to your mobile by callers in the Solomon Islands can be automatically forwarded to you when in Australia or PNG.
.No more constant change of mobile number every time you travel to Australia and PNG.
.You have a single number and a single phone.
As a value added service International Roaming complements Our Telekom's Breeze Mobile Post Paid Service. The service facilitates both inbound and outbound voice and SMS services. The service is available to customers who subscribe to Our Telekom Breeze Mobile postpaid service only.
