Attorney General's Position Opens Up

The Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has advertised the Post of the Attorney General online to attract applications from overseas.

The Vacancy notice and other accompanying documents can be found on the PMC website at www.pmc.gov.sb.

Human Resource Manager, Luke Cheka encouraged interested and potential applicants both local and overseas to visit the website to obtain information on the vacancy.

He said this approach is taken to save time and make it easier for interested applicants who cannot visit the Prime Minister’s Office in Honiara to collect application forms and other information relating to the post.

The post has also been advertised locally in the newspapers.

The Attorney General’s post will become vacant at the end of March 2015.

Local lawyer Billy Titiulu is the current post holder. The Attorney General is the Governments chief legal advisor.
