Solomon Airlines has announced that it has increased baggage allowances for all its International passengers with effect from Monday 3rd February 2014.

Passengers travelling in Economy class will now enjoy increased baggage allowance from 20kgs to 30kgs whilst those travelling in Business class will get an extra 10kg increase as well from 30kgs to 40kgs.

A statement from Solomon Airlines’ General Manager Commercial and Operations, Gus Kraus stated that “as we begin another challenging year, there’s no better way to say thank you to our valued clients, specifically those regular travellers who have continued supporting us over the years than to open up such incentives and as we all know, we could all do with better baggage allowances for those important accessories we want to take for whatever purposes.”

Gus Kraus added that whilst Solomon Airlines will always try to keep costs down so as not to hurt our valued clients, we will always continue to strive for excellence in the way we serve our Travelling public’s interests and one way to do that will be to find out more what our customers; needs through our regular customer satisfaction surveys and one will be conducted shortly.

Meanwhile Gus Kraus further iterated with this added incentive, all Belama Club members will also receive increased baggage allowances.

New Belama memberships are now open whilst current membership will expire at the end of January 2014. Those intending to become members can access membership forms through the airlines’ website www.flysolomons.com or contact our Belama Club administrator Mrs. Serah Kuper at the Henderson Corporate Head Office.
