This was highlighted by the Honiara City Mayor, Andrew Mua, in addressing the Independence celebrations at Lawson Tama yesterday.Mr. Mua said the city council is doing its best to provide basic services to the city populous that continues to grow.He said over the years, the city council has made some headway in its development initiatives.Main achievements highlighted include the completion of a Pikinini Clinic facility, improvement on rubbish collection system and the beautification of Honiara.The Lord Mayor urged the city population to respect and take care of public utilities and infrastructure facilities in the capital.He said with the help from development partners and overseas friends, everyone can live harmoniously in co-existence in Honiara.
