I read with much interest on the Church Of Melanesia's (COM)ambitious pursuit of an University in the country. And I am not ready to give my view yet on this but rather suggest the current and former students of COM- mandated institutions (academic and pastoral) in the country to share their views on such a proposed undertaking. I am aware that among the two pillars of Anglicanism in COM education is highly valued. If such is the church's line of promoting the Word then let it be. So much deviations from the original foundations of the faith has taken place in the Anglican communion worldwide as the "torturer" captures and torments it. I hope we are still aware that Lord's work is not yet over. We need to sit and contemplate again.
