Dear Editor,
Please allow me a space to express my warm and sincere Congratulations to every Solomon Islander and the government on this special day as we celebrate the 33rd Anniversary od Solomon Islands Independance!
May we continue to embrace our rich and diverse Melanesian cultures, traditions and respect. We must always hold fast to what make us unique Pacific Islanders and proud citizens of the Happy Isles - The Solomon Islands.
I am ever so proud to call myself and family members of the happy people of the Solomon Islands and join in the celebrations of our Big Day as I write this in this remote seaside village of Essex in England. Happy Independence Day everyone!!
