Dear Editor

My recent visit to our Honiara town makes me feel like cleanliness of the town is of major concern. I'm talking about the dirt and rubbish infront of some business houses in Honiara. If one strolls along the Point Cruz Asian shops, locals alike you'll see alot of rubbish infront of shops and along the street. The question is what are we doing about the cleanliness and tidiness of our place. My suggestion is to involve shop owners and business houses in cleaning up their surroundings. Even hire people to clean up for some pocket money. I'm not sure who is responsible for these public areas if not Hon City Council. But I think if we want to see a clean Honiara then everyone including Asians, Indians, solos and whoever, should take responsibility. Honiara is our place to live, please keep it clean.
