Dear editor, I call upon the responsible government of Solomon Islands to take into account all the anthropogenic sources of carbon dioxide emission, including the removal of trees from our forest and the amount of carbon dioxide as a result of these activities. By doing this, we maybe able to present a balanced view on SI's carbon dioxide production on the global scale. Also, we might be surprised to find out that equal blame lies with both advanced industrial countries and less developed countries such as SI when forest degradation is factored into the situation analysis. It will be very interesting once we determine the proximate analysis of all these parameters. All the best to our SI team for the Copenhagen summit.
