Solomon Saiki has quite remarkably pushed ahead with his rhetoric and has portrayed 'foreign-owned mining companies' who have or are in the process of establishing their operations in Solomon Islands as "rip-offs". It seems certain that Mr. Saiki does not seem to appreciate foreigners to invest in his country.

In regards to his aspirations and visions to help the "poor resource owners" as he likes to label them, Mr Saiki should open-up and establish a company immediately so that he can assist the resource owners reap the much talked about benefits! In passing, may I ask: Where have you been all these years? Why did not you influence your comrades to set up a local company so that you can mine and share the benefits in your own terms?
