Government wants $79 million dollars to fund budget

The following is an excerpt from, Friday, 31 July 2009 06:53

"Seven months into the year and the Government is seeking more funds to continue its
operations until the end of its financial year. The Government in its supplementary appropriation bill wants Parliament to approve $79.5 million dollars to continue with its work in delivering services to the people. Amongst the funding requested is $1.5 million dollars to cater for the increase in Parliamentarians' allowances."

They need $78 mill to deliver services to the rural people - yeah right! Only $1.5 mill to fund increase in entitlements - whatever!

Nafu nao oketa boss! Trae fo herem oketa pipol blo iufala tu.

I am sure future generations will judge us for complacency and apathy toward this 'cowboy style' governance.
