Kurukuru's Progress

Dear editor,

As part of the Solomon island community here in Fiji I'am so proud of the Performance of our young and talented Kurukuru team in the recent OFC championship. I have witnessed both the world cup qualfications last year and also the recent OFC championships and i'am proud to say that our boys have improved alot and have showcased professionalism in the game of Futsal. However in one of Elliots interview(team captain) he pleaded for our sporting authorities to build a standard Futsal court in our country to help them in their trainings and also the ovarall development of indoor soccer in our country. They have done us proud by flying our flag in various parts of the world so i think its time our country should hear thier plea for proper Futsal facilities. Our Futsal boys have all the potential to excel so please dont let them down. I personally urge the government plus other sporting authorities to take this matter seriously. Long live Solomon soccer. Vinaka!
