I wonder if the proposed terminal grant for MP's long suffering spouses' is retrospective? Should former politicians be entitled to the benefit? I don't think so, but I can imagine some people who wouldn't mind! Afterall, they would just about jump at anything, even for jobs for which they are least qualified!
