La Perouse`s 2 masted craft found
I have been researching the history of the La Perouse Expedition of 1785-88 and have in my possession historical reports of the two masted craft built at Vanikoro Is by the survivors of the wrecked ship Astrolabe and this wrecked 2 masted craft was found on the rocky reef at Temple Is near Cape Palmerston sth of Mackay in 1861 and in 1889 relics sent to Paris.
