SICHE Student Protest

It is heartening to learn about the students issues relating to their allowances. SICHE as the higher education provider in the country need to realise that the institution is not only provinding training but also look after the student welfare. The students are proving a point that if their welfare is not well looked after, how would they be able to study well.

Over the years many reviews were undertaken in SICHE and I don't know if the issue of student allowance was reflected in these reviews. If this is not the case, the outburst of the students is the right signal to undertake a review of this nature so that decision on student allowance is adequately informed and targeted to the right people.
